According to the results of the Board of Directors election for the Asia Refrigeration Industry Joint Stock Company (ARICO) at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders 2025 held on March 17, 2025, Mr. Atsushi has been honored to be elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ARICO. Congratulations to Mr. Atsushi, and best wishes to ARICO for success on its new journey alongside the new Chairman.
On this occasion, Mr. Atsushi delivered an inaugural speech, expressing confidence in a promising future not only for ARICO but also for the bright and renewed relationship between ARICO and the Hoshizaki Group from Japan. Below is the full text of Mr. Atsushi’s speech at the General Meeting:
“
First of all, I appreciate to Mr. Phuoc to led the company with his strong leadership and make Arico successful until today. I believe that he can continue to support and navigate us as a chairman of Searefico.
I also appreciate all of Searefico, Arico & Hoshizaki members who were involved in this process. Since when we had the first contact in June last year, all we are waiting for today. It’s really appreciated their effort to get the process done at the shortest possible time.
Since we announce our new partnership officially, I have been getting several projects who’s interested in Arico’s products and solutions. And lucky, I had an opportunity to interact with several people in Arico for that. I’m so impressed their knowledges, capabilities, business sense and hospitality. I believe that not only Arico’s original products but Hoshizaki new products we can serve together and maximize our business.
Actually, post-merger integration has just began. To make the project and our business successful, we need to put a lot of efforts to achieve No.1 in the market. As a first step, we aim to launch made in Vietnam commercial refrigerators in 1st quarter next year but that’s also the beginning.
Hoshizaki South-East Asia sales companies had a product meeting in Jakarta recently. I could feel that the expectation to Arico is very high. To introduce more products from Arico, our journey is long way to go.
However, I’m sure that Arico will be stronger with new team, and we can do it. From now on, some challenges and struggles are awaiting us, so I want to share my favourite words with all of you as my last words.
Where there a will, there’s a way. This means that if we have a strong will, nothing is impossible.
