ARICO traces its origins to a mechanical workshop established in 1977 in Phú Lâm, Ho Chi Minh City, specializing in industrial refrigeration. In 1993, the business officially became the Seaprodex Refrigeration Industrial Company, operating under the Vietnam Seafood Import-Export Corporation. At our factory located at 127 An Dương Vương, District 6, we pioneered the production of Vietnam’s first PUR insulation panels, freezers, IQF systems, and other key technologies—laying the foundation for the country’s industrial refrigeration sector.
In 1999, the company transitioned to a joint-stock model, marking a new phase of development. By 2007, in response to the city’s policy of relocating factories out of residential areas, Asia Refrigeration Industry Company (ARICO) was established on October 22, 2007, inheriting the Industrial Refrigeration division. This milestone initiated the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Tân Tạo Industrial Park and the implementation of the company’s structural transition. On January 1, 2010, ARICO officially completed this process and commenced operations at Lot 25–27, Trung Tâm Road, Tân Tạo Industrial Zone.
